%X Polarimetric SAR Interferometry (Pol-InSAR) represents the current culmination in microwave remote sensing technology, it is a new earth observation technology that integrated the Polarimetric SAR and Interferomteric SAR. In this paper, the basic principal and physical mechanism of Pol-InSAR, data processing and the difference between conventional InSAR and Pol-InSAR, and several hot application scopes are discussed in detail. At last, the existing problems and prospective of Pol-InSAR are also discussed.
