%X The vector contour representation method play an important role on directly distinguishing dock and ships contour from harbor contour.On the analysis of existed contour representation methods and application requirement,the paper designs and implements a specific vector contours representation method.Dock and ship can be distinguished on analysis of adjacent vectors dimensional relation.Experiments indicate the method is effective on detection ships on harbor.
