The authors make a systemtic exposition of application of GIS in digital simulating flood-waterlog harzard and evaluating the loss within river basin from disigning of basin database, numeral simulating flood harzard forecasting and flood routing in river course and floodplain, modeling victims dispersion, etc. It provides a basic framework for developing similar research in the future. %K GIS %K Basin flood-waterlog harzard %K Digital models %K Evaluating damage caused by flood-waterlog %K Cao-e river basin
