%X This paper present the operational principle of ocean radar altimeter and the last de- velopment. The principle diagram of the radar altimeter is given. Emphsis is placed on dis- cussion, analysis and calculation of the technical problems in development of the radar al- timeter. Also the criterion of taking in some technical promblems is presented. It's helpful to designing of the ocean radar altemeter in the absence of contidition to carry out experi- mental research of radar almtimeters. and without the measuring parameter.
