%X In this paper, a small automatic indexing test system is presented, which is mainly designed to index Chinese documents of information science by using Foxbase+ on Compage 386 microcomputer. The indexing methods such as word indexing, subject indesing, word assignment indexing and word extraction indexing are explained in detail. The implementation procedures and main ideas of the system are also described.
