%X Metadata is one of the projects to solve the network resources from having no preface to preface. This paper introduces Dublin Core using in the digital library. Aiming at China-US Million Book Library Project, the paper expatiates the reason that why DC 1. 1 version is used as the standard of digital book metadata, introduces the method of auto check of the digital book DC using software, then analyzes the result of the check.
