%X Under the general trend of informational society, database industry has become the essential industry of information industry. Focusing on the lashes of the wave of knowledge economy and seeing from the angle of innovation,this paper probes into the current situation of the development of China s database industry, and expounds from the aspects of research, development and business management of database that it is necessary to speed up the development of China s database industry by full use of the latent capability of knowledge and technological innovation.
