%X Topic Maps is one of the most important methods for heterogeneous knowledge integration, which is applied to file archive in split catalog and conceptual navigation in Web browse. It is important to validate the syntax and semantics of a topic map before its use, so as to ensure the completeness and robustness of the semantic web, which is the foundation for Topic Maps application. According to the problem, Schema and Constraints Language Specification for Topic Maps is presented in the paper, schema constraints and contextual constraints are researched, then the relative TM Validator is built to implement the validation for Topic Maps.
