%X GenBank is a public database of all known nucleotide and protein sequences with supporting bibliographic and biological annotation, built and distributed by the National Center for Biotechnology information (NCBI), the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and the National institute of Health(NIH),USA. GenBank data is available by WWW,FTP and E-mail. The retrieval of GenBank by the QUERY server is mainly introduced in this paper.
