%X The traditional libraries are transferring into network libraries in the environment of Internet. Owing to the facilities of library automation system, such as Unix small computer and workstation, RDBMS, ... are in high prices for the middle and small sized libraries. By the rapid development of Internet, there are so many free software can be make choice for the middle and small sized libraries. This paper gives a low cost based on free software Linux as a solution of automation system of libraries.
