%X Researchers have been exploring the relationship between human eye movements and mental activities for hundreds of years. Many studies indicated the significance of rapid eye movements (REM) and its cycle during sleep on the memory formation and consolidation. During awaking state, the aim of human eye movements is to obtain information from outside world. It should be a encoding procedure if a memory task involves. In addition, eye movements are related to human problem solving. The previous results suggest that eye movements and memory interact reciprocally, and a proper eye movements training could improve reading and memory.
