%X With the development and popularization of the computer and network, the virtual social relationship, a new social relationship different from the traditional face-to-face communication is growing up. From the psychological point of view, this paper discusses the motivation of virtual communication, the factors influencing the development of the virtual social relationship and the relationship between the virtuality and reality. Moreover, the authors also give some prospects about the psychological research and the psychological base and the mental mechanism of the virtual social relationship formation would be well worth researching in the future.
