%X This experiment tested processing time and comprehension of sentences of two-episode stories.Thirty students read the stories sentence by sentence by controlling the reading speed themselves on the computer. After the subjects finished reading one story, they recalled it immediately. The data showed that(1) reading time is a pattern of decreases.(2)recalling of the stories is a pattern of wave.(3)reading time is not a function of comprehension and recalling.
