%X Trade\|offs between time and cost has been traditionally studied with emphasis on crashing project duration with minimum cost. However, the resource constrained is largely ignored. A resource constrained time\|cost trade\|offs model is proposed under consideration of limited resource. A heuristic genetic algorithm with special chromosome representation is designed for the model and the procedure is programmed with Visual C ++ 5.0. The computational results of a numerical example indicate that the model is rational and the algorithm is efficient.
