%X We try to research empirically and illustrate the relationship between the environmental and economic performance of firm through building the simultaneous equations and adopting the datas of the European some country and Chinese some region paper industry. Findings fit better with traditionalist reasoning about the relationship, which predicts the relationship to be uniformly negative.
