%X This paper presents an improving method for creating initial population in genetic programming so as to decrease the bigger population and accelerate the lower eonvergence rate. The method can enable the initial population to have better efficiency,and it can improve the convergence efficiency of genetic programming. Two examples about symbolic regression given in this paper show that this method is feasible.
