%X Ecosystem and socio-economy,which are closely related with and interact with each other,make up a regional complex large system. Many underlying relationships between factors and mechanisms of processes are unknown or unclear in the system,and artificial neural networks provide a feasible method to model such incomprehensive and complex system. Applying an integrated BP network,we dynamically simulate the trend of ecosystem service value and GDP of Xiangfan,Hubei province,after the south-to-north water transfer project in China. At last,we discuss restricts and available conditions of BP in complex system modelling,and furthermore suggest some solutions to overcome them.
