%X Nanometer trimanganese tetraoxide nanocrystals were synthesized in DMSO medium with a solvothermal method. The products were characterized by XRD, TEM and FT-IR spectra. The XRD patterns showed that the phase was Mn3O4. The magnetic properties were investigated on a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM). The results showed that the magnetic performance of the nano Mn3O4 was paramagnetic at room temperature.
