%T Surface Morphology, Spectra and Photocatalytic Bactericidal Effect of Chlorophyll-Sensitizing TiO2 Crystalline Phases

%X Different crystalline TiO2 films prepared by the sol-gel method were modified by employing chlorophyll as the sensitizer, and characterized by XRD, AFM, UV-vis absorption spectra and Fluorescence emission spectra. The activity of killing the pathogenic bacteria of cabbage soft rot on chlorophyll-sensitized TiO2 film was investigated. The results show that three TiO2 nanocrystalline particles of anatase, mixed-crystalline and rutile sensitized by natural chlorophyll can effectively kill pathogenic cabbage-soft-rot bacteria under visible light.
