%X Light scatter in KDP crystal is a very important parameter to evaluate the properties of KDP crystal. As the scatter partical size is very small, it makes the studies on its component and the formation process very difficult. TEM was used to study on the actual size of the scatter particles in KDP crystal, and the component was also analyzed. The formation mechanism of light scatter was proposed and discussed.
