%X The preparation process of nanometer calcium carbonate(CaCO3) by multistage spray carbonation was studied. The effects of the conditions of spray carbonation and additive dosage on the average particle size of nanometer CaCO3 were discussed systematically. The primary particle size of carbonated sediment was about 30nm by vacuum desiccation. Then the active nanometer CaCO3 particles ranged from 30nm to 40nm were obtained by means of surfaction.
