%X The recent progress in research concerning spinel Li4Ti5O12 as anode for energy storage devices was reviewed. Physical and electrochemical properties of Li4Ti5O12 were introduced. The emphasis was laid on the electrochemical performance of Li4Ti5O12 as anode in hybrid supercapacitors. Information regarding the synthetic methods for the preparation of Li4Ti5O12 and recent improving work were thoroughly presented.
