Thegrowth conditions, including the selection of starting compositions, preparation of the startingmaterials, design of the temperature distribution and control of the furnace temperature, werediscussed. A transparant KLN crystal with 10mm in diameter and 25mm in length was grownsuccessfully. %K potassium lithium niobate %K crystal %K modified Bridgman technique %K growth
