A thin loop-like Pt wire heater (about 2.5mm in diameter)was employed to heat and suspend the KNbO3 melts. A thin plane film of the sample melt wasformed. The temperature and fluid velocity profiles in the melt were measured experimentally.The quantitative analysis for the velocity of the fluid flow was also made theoretically. %K in situ observation methods %K high temperature melt effect
