%X A CW green laser was reported with ceramic Nd:YAG as gain material and KTP crystal as frequency doubler. When the pump power was 21.6 W, the 1064 nm fundamental output was 11.3 W, corresponding to an optical conversion efficiency of 52.3%. When a type-Ⅱ cut KTP crystal was inserted in the straight cavity as a frequency doubler, the maximum 532 nm green output was 1.86 W, and the optical conversion efficiency was 7 %. The one-dimensional intensity distribution of the green faeula was of Gaussian type, and the M~2 factor was measured to be 1.7 when the output power was 1 W.
