%X A kinetic model is developed to describe the Ne-CuBr UV laser action in a longitudinal pulsed discharge. The influence of main parameters on the laser output characteristics is numerically calculated. The dependence of laser intensity on the buffer gas pressure, the operation temperature and the tube radius is found out and the experimental results are explained quantitatively. The modelling results can provide a reference to improve the laser output characteristics.
