%X The Tikhonov regularization method is applied to analyze the lifetime of the pl asma channel produced by femtosecond laser pulses propagating in air. Experiment s show that by using double laser pulses separated by several nanoseconds, the lifetime of the plasma channel can be prolonged by 5 times that of only using o ne laser pulse.
