%X This paper gives a new type of conserved quantities for Birkhoffian systems. First, the equations of motion of the systems are established, and the definitions and criterions of Mei symmetries are given. Next, an existence theorem for the new type of conserved quantities of the systems is given, and the generalized Killing equations used to determine the infinitesimal generators are deduced. Finally, the inverse theorem of the conservation law is established.
