%X Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of the N-type and P-type Bi 2Te3-based alloys prepared by melting/grinding/hot-pressing met hod for different process parameters (temperature and pressure of hot-pressing)were measured,and the effects of process parameters were analyzed.It has been found that the temperature and pressure of hot-pressing play very important roles in enhancing both Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity of the Bi2Te3-based alloys.The phenomena are different from those of Bi2Te3 single cry stal and its oriented crystal in the electrical properties.Better electrical properties may be obtained.
