%X We explore the control of the Gaussian beams propagating in the planar waveguide by use of the (1+1)-dimensional Snyder-Mitchell model and the spatial sinusoidal phase modulation.The steady symmetrical co-propagation of three,five and six beams can be obtained with proper modulation parameters. Their unique interaction has potential application in the optical switch,optical coder and the spectrometer.
