%X The characteristic waves in layered anisotropic medium are discussed on the basi s of propagation matrix concerning the transverse field components.The analytica l expressions for the reflection and transmission coefficients of the waves in a nisotropic layered media are obtained.This formula can be applied to layered uni axial and gyrotropic medium,and anisotropic half space problems as well.
