%X The equation of motion of particles has been reduced to the pend ulum equation with a damping term and a forced term by using the sine_squared potential.The global bifurcatio n an d chaotic behaviours have been analysed using Melnikov technique, and it is show n that the enhancement of the radiation background and the random phenomen on of th e channelling efect are related to chaotic behaviours of the system.
