%X Based on physics of micro-cavity and quantum well, the spontaneous emission spectra and spontaneous emission lifetime in the vertical cavity surface emitting laser have been calculated. It is found that the minimum spontaneous emission lifetime is the main reason that the vertical cavity surface emitting laser can realize high\|modulation response after the transfer function of the semiconductor laser is studied.
