%X The possible influence of nonuniform gaseous medium on high order harmonics generated by femtosecond laser is discussed. The results of the computation indicate that the gradient of the gaseous medium and the velocity of gas atoms from the jet cannot cause detectable effects in experiments.This result supports the widespread use of gas jet in experiments concerning high order harmonics.
