%X In this paper, the self-focusing processes and ability of helical wiggler, which is often used in Raman Free Electron Laser experiment,, are analyzed. And the conditions for steady beam transportation are given and compared with the Raman FEL experiment beam data. In addition, the theoretical analysis of EPA-74 FEL radiation is presented, which is in agreement with the experimental results.
