%X The self-starting dynamics of the Kerr-lens-mode-locking (KLM) in a Ti:sapphire laser using an intracavity broadband semiconductor saturable absorber mirror (SESAM) was investigated experimentally.The mechanism of the self-starting KLM using a SESAM was investigated and discussed.
