%X Theoretical evaluation of the angular scattering enhancement around the back-scattering direction from a randomly rough surface is studied by employing the Kirchhoff approach. An analytic expression of polarized double-scatterered intensity that takes into account the coherence of multiple scattering from the rough surface is used to quantitatively evaluate the scattering enhancement around the back-scattering direction from such a surface.
