%X In this work, the refractive indices, density, molar volume and molar refractive degree of LnP5O14 crystals have been measured. The influence of wavelength and temperature on optical properties was also studied and some regular results were obtained. These results indicated that the properties of rare-earth compounds depend not only on the nature of rare-earth ion itself but also on the conditions of environment.
