%X An amorphous phase of Ni/Ti bilayer system is formed by solid state reaction and inn beam mixing. The results of TEM cross sectional photograph show that the diffusion results in the amorphous phase formation, Ni is the dominate diffusion species, and the ion beam bombardment enhances Ni diffusion.
