%X Assuming that the 11Li, 14Be and 17B nuclei are composed of the core and two outer neutrons, we have investigated the giant dipole mode of these nuclei by sum rule approach. The excitation energy and the strength of the soft dipole mode are calculated and compared with other theoretical results.
