%X In this paper, an optimal iteration procedure, the projection-iteration method, is developed to solve the Cauchy problems of the flux function equation. This method exhibits higher convergent speed and is suitable for calculating the plasma configurations with divertors. Several important plasma configurations have been calculated. The numerical solutions are found to be in good agreement with the analytical solutions.
