%X We find that the amorphous alloy Ti80Si20 wouldn't decompose into multiphases, but rather transform directly into bcc supersaturate solid solution of Ti (Si). This phenomena may be attributed to the lower elastic energy created by solid solution and the comparatively large compressibility of Ti.
