%X Starting from the relativistic motion equation of a single particle,the motion constants were obtained. And then by using these motion constants a distribution function of the beam particles was constructed which satisfies the Vlasov equation. The beam temperatures and the energy broadening of a relativistic charged-particle beam in axially symmetric electric- and magnetic-fields have been calculated by using the distribution function,and the weakly and strongly relativistic approximations have also been discussed respectively.
