%X The properties of an electron in the polar crystal is discussed by means of a model which takes account of the atomic property of the lattice. The lattice vibration and the interactions of the electron with the lattice displacement are treated by second quantization method. The self energy, effective mass of the polaron and the temperature dependence of the polaron effective, mass are derived.
