The ordering process of AuCu alloy can be divided into two stages: 1) formation of short-range order or nucleation with increase in resistivity, followed by 2) long-range ordering with decrease in resistivity.2. The ordering kinetics of AuCu alloy during low temperature aging is mainly limited by migration of the quenched-in vacancies. The rate of ordering process is proportional to the concentration and mobility of quenched-in vacancies.3. The formation energy and migration energy of vacancies in AuCu were estimated to be 0.95 eV and 0.81 eV respectively.4. During isothermal aging, the quenched-in vacancies in AuCu decayed according to the law of second-order reaction. %U http://www.alljournals.cn/get_abstract_url.aspx?pcid=6E709DC38FA1D09A4B578DD0906875B5B44D4D294832BB8E&cid=47EA7CFDDEBB28E0&jid=29DF2CB55EF687E7EFA80DFD4B978260&aid=4E3A83D112F989A16BE4E9838383B31D&yid=AA64127AB7DEB65D&vid=340AC2BF8E7AB4FD&iid=38B194292C032A66&sid=3E3EF0DB5E6F2DA9&eid=869B6F3117981EC4&journal_id=1000-3290&journal_name=物理学报&referenced_num=0&reference_num=0
