%X Some formulae of the empirical coefficient method in fluorescent X-ray spectrometric analysis are discussed theoretically and a general formula is obtained thereupon. The physical significance of the coefficients used is explained. A formula based upon the calculation of relative intensity of fluorescent X-ray is derived and it is relatively simple in application.
