方道腴 %J 物理学报 %D 1983 %I %X Using optical method the retrograde velocities of vacuum arcs in magnetic fields were measured as a function of the cathode temperature for Cu, Al and 316 stainless steel used as the cathode material. It was found that with increasing the cathode temperature the arc velocity decreases.
