%X Gymnosporangium tianschanicum sp. nov. on Sabina vulgaris from Hami, Xinjiang Autonomous Region in northwest of China is described. The species is quite easily recognized by the presence of uredinial stage, and the unicellular teliospores occasionally intermixed with urediniospores in the uredinia.
