%X In this paper, We describe a multi-functional inhihition zone measurement instrument model Zy-300A which makesmeasurement on any images. We could accurately measure the area of single inhibition spot of carbamoyltobramycin obtainedin thin layer chromatography with bioautographic detection. then directly reading the amount of the component in fermentativebroth from the standard curve of the singl component thereby eliminating the interfernce of other components.It is shown by experiments that it's advantages were the heigh precision, good replication, wide tinder, high speed andconvenient Operation etc.. We have provided accurate quantitative data for assay of the amount of pare antibiotics andfermentation, isolation and Purification of multi-component antibiotic in the stablished method.
