%X In this paper, the study of production development for each production well has already been performed in southern area, Yulin gas field. Based on the results, the total 20 production wells should be classified into 3 types, the wells are of that actual production capacity exceed, under, and match with the designed project. Necessarily, the geological factors of causing these situations are analyzed; furthermore, for the wells, which have the lower production capacity, the measurements to improve them should be taken. Meanwhile, contrasted and analyzed different kinds of equivalent figures to study the impaction of production characteristics and geological factors on the production capacity, as well as the study of the geological problems appearing along with the variation of pressure and production quality, are also carried out in southern area, Yulin gas field. The results will provide more detailed materials and technical references to develop this well area effectively.
